3lb a man wins any national ( with the exception of the coms one a few week ago )

Clay Lane Eclipse were doing ok on the 2 sections I walked at Stretton

Perry and Eric had Stoke accents tho

Always enjoy Nationals.

Got lost crappity smack knows how many times.
Eventually we drove through sumat like an African jungle to find Branston Water Park.
Good walk to me peg; pegs miles closer than we do them.
Peg looked fine but was a bit deep right over, could'nt fancy it after the temperatures we had.
However, it was pegged on a 'no fishing' area because of cables. ::)
The local Council moved in and started demolishing the hedge behind me, thought they were gonna shear me fooking hair off an me pole in arf .
Had a perch within about three seconds of the off.
It went backwards from thereon.
The only bit of good news I had was Dave McCall was next door so we could have a bit of a natter and me a wallowping
Weighed on 300 odd grammes, - bitterly disappointed not for me but for the team, surprise got 17 points, was expecting 6 or 7 top whack, - just could'nt get bites.
Got crappity smack drenched by the mother all rainfalls, did any other crappity smack have any rain, those I asked said no.
Waited an age for my lift as Eric couldn't get off the A38 because of football plebs:D
Finally got back to the HQ, no food left, no drink
Bitterly disappoionted with 26th.
Chuffed to heck for Pez who won his section.
Went back to Rugeley for a pint to celebrate Fred's birthday.
Anyway well done Dave and the Shakespeare Boot Boys.
Must try harder if I can hang on for another year

Despite everything I still like Nationals, at we least we kept the Laners on the Trent; now go and win the crappity smack next year
