That used to be the norm 30 odd years ago Morrie88 - always had one in my box when we used to fish the Severn - especially in winter - tie yourself to a tree and 'dig yourself in'

i was at evesham sunday walking the bank ,well not walking i got my bike out  :o :o i went end to end 4 times  :D :D thats the way forward
great day as well all the old faces even managed a ticket for next week  Image Image Imagecan't wait
i could of had one this week if i'd of turned up
Image Imagei was 21 and 22 on the waiting list phoned friday no one had cancelled .so when i arrived to find 7 spare pegs  Image Image plus Sam had the bait for these anglers  Imageso i stayed behind and managed to get on yet i saw other names down that must be fishing the winter league final and the bristol avon on the sunday  :-/ :-/hope they remember to cancel

The lowest turnout before this one for the 'Blue Riband' was in 1929 on the Witham, 428 fished.
