Oh by the way can you make sure theres no leaves on the canal @ Norbury & Wardle

I can remember one match at Little Onn, I think it was a League match some years ago around the beginning of November. barney and mysel spent the whole day on the Saturday in the canal netting leaves out so the match went ahead the next day. We started at the far end of the wood and got so far into the Turnover length before it went dark again.
We put a rope across the cut by the bridge to staop the leaves coming through. It worked a treat because the first boat didn't come through until dinner time and we just about managed it.

It fished crap that day but at least we got it fished.

On another 'leaf' theme I was told once by one well known moaning William the Conquerer Image, sorry matchman that I should have a year planner with all the dates on it when pegs were worse with leaves and never put those pegs in again on those dates >:(

What a w4nker Image

I'm at Nantwich on Sunday. Apparently there has been a big fire there affecting the roads.

Before some Woman's wetter accuses me of starting that I was down Stafford Town Centre at the time and have plenty of witnesses.
