Frank the finger post pub was named after the finger post sign post on the light oppersite pelsall social. Theyve spent a load of money around there repainting the finger post sign post, doing the nature swamp up and a few other bits and they renamed the oak pub the finger post

Sorry for the confusion Frank - the Fingerpost pub which just happens to be just down from the road from the actual Fingerpost by the club............

tk you know when you go down that track by tyhe pub down to were them houses are at the bottom , well that water, lake swamp what ever it is, is it or did it use to be a fishing lake ? many times ive seen herons on there. i know theres no pegs but all ways fancyed making one and having a play

Park to the left of the house by the junction. Theres a little path that runs along the pool right on the opposite side of the cut.
Half way down the path, in the middle of that bank of the pool is the supposed cock peg. It does get fished occasionaly.
