Sad state of affairs at heronbrook yesterday though lloydy . Neil should of at least kept the cafe open for the anglers who made the very difficult journey there .... not send the kitchen staff home without even giving those who turned up a hot drink at the very least.

its a hard to make the right choice on semi final venues specially when you want them to be fished at this time of year our canal fished crap last year and if i'm not wrong we had something like 45 frosts the most we had for a number of years and everyone said then it would get as cold as that again what ever ken decides it will be wrong i thought the smaller groups of semi's worked better but he got a right load of stick for that perhaps now that the final is further back in September the semi finals could be put back a little i know one or two fish the white acres or ireland but if you get to the semi final that should come first specially if the semi's are on commercials one thing is for sure by the end of the match there will be three teams in the final

Lloydy, looks like we are just going to turn up on the day, not going to put ourselves out practicing for this one :(  It`s too far to be messing about with, is it on, is it off?? First time I can remember us not practicing for a semi :(

Just jumping ahead; anyone know what date the WL Final is as September is amost full???
There are quite a few big matches down for that month anyway

Gibbo all the lakes are ice free mate he`s just had a bit cat ice in the edges, all gone now. 3 of our lads went yesterday, all picked up money with golden balls Closie coming 4th on his first visit!!!! 8 of us there tomorrow and we`ll be back down Thurs
