Steve and All.

Will check regards Middy Stupid Stick tomorrow morning.

Think you may be right though as when Geoff was baliffe i know it got banned then as well as landing net handles with lacky, but will check with the new guy.

When i spoke to him last week he was saying that this year MIGHT be the last year of matches as we know them there as they may stop the use of keepnets as THEY think 20lbers are classed as Specimens and not suited to matches...... Image Image Image

Mike

Drayton was your choice as you fish it and there for will know what the fish are like in there. ;)

You can get away with a 22 lacky on the Dam as you have the open water for them to go to but it'll be one hell of a fun day if you fish a 22 on the boards. Image Image

I'll make sure i've got the camera set up on a tripod to picture your fun. Image Image

As for the difference between "a shock stick and a yank and bank with a 22 laccie and 10 main line size 14 hook" hell of a lot as to my mind the stupid stick is a 3lb test carp rod with elastic where as the wanknbank is a take apart (easily smashed at Drayton) margin pole. ::)

As for a 14 hook a did not even know they made them that SMALL Image Image

Definate Canal tactics if it's 10lb line. :D :D

Al,

Marked you as Confirmed. Image

one of the best pieces of equipment i have ever brought
mind you i did get some funny looks when i put a 60+ m of carbon
out tight to a island then just wait for the pole to slide side ways or straight down depending on what baits. biggest fish i have ever caught on the method was 17.5lb common never ever seen a lake stop fishing like it did when i caught her because people had never seen the floating pole they just stop to see if i was going to land the fish did over 60lb in four fish that day i was do in then
no malc i don't teach that method just standard pole, feeder, and waggler Image
