Even if we have to pay some sort of peg fee, ie - £1-2, does it matter as long as we have a few fish?

And if it's £5 a day ticket down Clayhanger, would this still be £5 for a match peg fee?

The section that runs from Pelsall Road bridge back towards tesco bend, you park in the dead end road in northfield way which is left turn of Clayhanger Roadwe could peg from curlew drive bridge towards pelsall Lane ( see google maps)

Is the rugeley section the new bypass road bridge near the power station where you have to walk down the steps? Are we talking about the pegs the side where the steps are or the other side of the bridge?

Hi Blues4eva - had a gander at google maps - would we get 20 pegs in between the bridge and Pelsall lane? Looks a little tight?

Northfield  Way is left turn of the roundabout in  Clayhanger lane not road as I originally posted Image

The parking is easy and  just a short walk to the canal

we could peg from coopers bridge the end of Brown hills water towards Pelsall Road

you will easily get 18 pegs in if you peg the small compound if we get more turn up you can peg along Pelsall road until your hearts content

if people want a change  i think its as good as any where but Im not fused either way
its just an option and like anywhere we go there's no guarantee them things with fins will play ball and feed

Have looked on canal plan re Northfield Way and the pegs from coopers bridge back towards pelsall rd are not controlled by brownhills community as they have from coopers bridge up to chasewater , as their web site states :
Angling
Fishing rights for
Wryley & Essington Canal
Stretch of water between
Coopers Bridge and Chasewater
basin

Should not be a peg fee payable ?
