we have all had enough of that bill

now now lee there all in the bag at the start and dont give bill any ammo or he will be a £100,000 grand down again at conkers before he no's it.well done yesterday mate it's a shame it's all getting abit to ugly at times with poor brian getting it in the neck,i carnt belive some people can be like that to someone who gives most of his spare time up making it possible for us to do what we like,i wish the angling press would name and shame them.

and by the way mine wasnt an end peg id got pike to my right 'o' and in front of me and 'o' to my left as well how many silvers are there it's rigid but theres loads of pike they just keep killing your lines,i could catch on a top three but pike were coming up there under my feet i had 286 roach on my clicker and didnt count the bleak or perch so i must of had like 340 fish and i think iv lost a good hour with the pike but carnt moan ay.

Is there a problem with pegging in a straight line?

this is the problem bill a lot want it pegging in a line were we can and as fair as it can be but some want it pegging like an open with all the flyers in which means pegging here and there with gaps and crap around the good pegs,the bottom line is it's a team leauge (angling trust team champs)not an open. But some carnt see it pal,these are the problems we face and we need to find that common ground that suites all a little bit of give and take but no one should be able to abuse the match organiser for what ever reason,any way i dont think it will happen again i think every ones had there fill now so and something might just get sorted

we try and cater for everyone bill so they get a days fishing but if you put loads of worms pinkies G/B in you peg then suddenly the canal is crap you can't catch there's no fish in the place .so pegging in a straight line could well be the answer
like pete said defy the competition angling trust winter league they should have all the guide lines and how they want it running.perhaps the winter league needs a committee that meets up well before the start of the competition then one man is not to be blamed action then can be taken against disruptive parties [but this committee needs to be put together very carefully no individual that thinks he's bigger than the organiser]
if you had 50 teams on the witham every peg in a straight line fishing for £5000 no one would moan

I only suggested in a straight line (wherever possible) because it cuts the moaning down about end pegs and the like; I know some don't see it like that but at least I have had two bites start for this weekend
