Booked in to two Evesham qualifiers this year .... for the first time in many years ..... well today's has been cancelled!!

with a distinct absence of river matches and not yet sure if I can handle a pole on the canal yet, I went breaming yesterday on a pit that I used to fish 20 years ago.
Nice day - in 3.5 hours I had 3 bream, 2 skimmers and a perch. The skimmers were about 7lb each

, and the proper ones nearing doubles ..... good fun on a 16 B611 and 2.1 bayer hook length !!

I had to wait in a que for 25 minutes to get a brekkie at the draw for a 90 pegger this morning ....... not a good omen !

Safe to say the day got steadily worse

It didnt rain tho !
