The young uns with no hope or future whether they were involved in looting / rioting or not would have something to do and somewhere to go if Cameron hadnt shut down their youth clubs , keep fit clubs etc etc ! Anyone who lives in big inner cities know these facilities are vital to healthy communities for people from all backgrounds and they are / were run by brilliant people who know how to work with these kids and give them hope and direction. I have first hand experience of seeing these places work fantasticly well through council contracts i have worked on. A lot of these kids come from very difficult backgrounds , broken families etc , very much in the bottom rung of society , they get angry very quickly and do bad things , society has always had these issues ....... Cameron with his drastic and socialy unequal cuts has made them a whole lot worse ..... then again history tells us conservative governments always do this because they havent got a clue about these communities, they prefer to ignor them or turn a blind eye. To keep a youth club open costs next to nothing , the same for a gym or keep fit club etc etc, how much has all them bombs that have missed Gadaffi cost ?????? We will always have morons / dead legs in our society but for christ sake dont anybody show ignorance in tarring all our council estate youth with the same brush ..... a lot of the kids go on do well for themselves when they have learnt a few hard lessons in life and become very decent people / parents !

Dodge i don't beleive or accept that the closing of youth clubs, keep fit clubs ect had any thing to do with these troubles. The scum who were involved in these riots wouldn't of gone to the youth clubs if they were open. There are plenty of things to do out there for the youth to do if they wish to. My 15yr old son is in the army cadets which he attends 2 nights aweek plus weekend activities. Before this he was in the cubs and scouts and also went to kick boxing and did other clubs/ activities inc going to youth club. My 9 yr old daughter as just gone up into guides after doing brownies and rainbows. She as also done ballet, dance and various other clubs/ activities in and out of school but asn't been to youth club.
There are loads of activities for kids to do wether they be after school teams/ clubs or private clubs activities. It just takes a little bit of effort for them to get off their ar$es and look into what they want to do.
The scum that caused this trouble were not interested in any clubs/ activities ect. They think they are like the black gangsters in america and want to behave like them. Alot of this behaviour is promoted through the black rappers that promote gun and gang culture. Its time these black wannabe gangsters had their chips knocked off their shoulders and brought back down to earth. These scum will never get a job simply because they don't want a job, they beleive that society owes them .

its called black culture me! an actual mp mentioned it once on tv..now i dont give a dam if they wanna shoot eachother, thats a few less to worry about, but just lately theres been a few innocent people shot i think.its the valuble police resource's it takes up!! did you see in the papers today, that they have nicked an 11yr old kid for walking off with a dustbin, how pathetic is that. it makes my blood boil! agree me its not about youth clubs, theres plenty to do without em,infact i think the scum hang around these places,i took my son bowling today then pizza hut he eats free and the bowling was £3.50,so dont tell me thats too expensive for any parent.

Yepp you are right me . Your kids have a good mum and dad and a steady home , my post is about the nutters who dont have that and follow the gang related culture which leads to knowhere , some do get away from it eventually and make something of there life . There has always been low life and always will be and when countries hit economic rock bottom riots and the like rear there ugly head , history tells us this. Its good to see the courts and justice system act quickly but teenagers and adults from all backgrounds have been arrested even some with good steady jobs ! There is a lot of political spin taking place by the government to avoid THE REAL ISSUES
