The worst part of having a national on your local waters is that you know you can't win after the draw The lads did brilliant to finish 5th off the draw but obviously very disappointed. Big well done to shaky, to average 9th in section is an awesome performance

Congratulations to shakespeare superteam!! fantastic result for a great bunch of lads. well done.

What a great day! Brilliantly organised from start to finish (minus a few PC hiccups). Tipton definitely had a few bad uns so 5th place was a great result on the day. I said all along that the northern teams were the biggest threat (perhaps cos they always hold back on the best squatts on big matches! )
Gonna have to polish my Polish now!
Bill, what's Polish for "Get down the crappity smacking middle?" :o
In all seriousness, Bill, I'm sorry for swearing about that numpty boater. Every single one went through a dream except one clown who decided to go plough through my far bank tree. Just my luck you had the head of BW with you. D'oh!
All the other boaters were great. In fact, the guy next to me lost a chub last cast which pulled his top 5 off. The next boat that came along reversed back and got it back for him (minus chub)! Two weeks before I lost a pole rig on the front of a boat steered by a load of foreigners. I was just thinking to myself lots of anti-German thoughts when the next thing I know the boat stopped under the next bridge, one of them gets off and walks back along the towpath to bring me my float back. Result!
