Digger Conway fishes with our crowd at Norbury most Saturdays and some Sundays (he works shifts at the sh!t factory, Shanks's in Armitage).

If you are looking back to the original 'carping' Digger are you sure you don't mean Digger Bailey, Twink's old mate?

Not that I know of, he used to work dar'n pit (Digger).
I think he still does a bit of fishing (vermin type).
I used to see him in the Shack (Chase Social Club) on the odd occasion I went (once a year).
I think he had an accident and uses a stick now; he's a good egg

It's Twink not Tink! He still fishes a bit, he was at Rugeley t'other week.
He gets arthritus quite bad nowadays so that is probably why he goes missing for spells; unless it's the Woods rum

Just been hunting for the gallery - Twink starred in a couple of photos that Simps took and posted in the Grueller series reports last winter - but I cant find where its gone
