If thats the fish that thought it was a West Ham fan by blowing loads of bubbles when i stood behind you, then id go for either a carp or tench. I thought tench but then it rolled just below the surface and i thought carp (you said to the blokes you were talking to pike) then it started blowing its bubbles again and they were big bubble which made me beleive more that it was a carp as tench bubbles tend to be smaller than them bubbles
So i go for a carp

I hadn't got the bins on ME............
and daint see any bubbles (before or after)
Must have been focusing on that float tip on a differing line in the peg
Unless it rolled twice
cuss I thought it was Cheslyn Boy and Goughy behind me when I saw it
Bl**dy hell............bet that tinca or carpy waffled all me joker feed up there in one slurp

I thought good anglers where always aware of what went on around them
They usually are but sometimes get distracted by bank walkers sky lining their pegs...........
Bring it on Cheslynboy.................can't wait to smack your bot again
But just how many grueller's can you take
or have you forgot what it was like 20 years ago

Now Now..........
The 'MESC Raiders' - that brings back a memory or two
Think (well I know) there will be a face or two missing on the next Grueller............
So plenty of room for Cheslynboy, Goughy and you Corcatchacold
I'm up for it...........and I'm due a couple of lb of fish...........bring it on
Just need to keep an eye on Budgie who's rapidly becoming a cut king

M E S C raiders now there is a memory and yes i did fish for them, best result 2nd on an inter electric/power station match on the severn.
As for canals i have had loads of gruellers on the sections at Penkridge your cut is a tad easier lol
Nickname in our club is the Warburton King so i'll have my punches at the ready.

Ahhhhhhhh..............but did you 'earn' your Halcon Hunt team coat
As for canals i have had loads of gruellers on the sections at Penkridge
And you want to charge me £2.50 peg
Nickname in our club is the Warburton King
We've already got Cotti the Warburton King - so you'll have to think of another
Besides Cotti couldnt catch on the punch on Sat so them punches of yours might end sitting idly on your tray
your cut is a tad easier lol
Many a statement comes back to haunt on these forums
Let battle commence
