Image Image Image Image Image a very very well done and pat on the backs to ...... ImageTony Keeling  ImagePaul Turner  Image and Fred Cheatham Image and all the lads who helped behind the scenes . Image Image These practise matches have been well organised and run with great help to all people who took part, and you took time out to help most whom asked for it Image the amount of anglers that fished the opens has been the greatest numbers of partisipents that we have seen for some time , which is a great credit to you all and the very nature in the way that our shallow narrow canals have performed. . . . . it is very very hard work with long days etc pegging out the water course and organising parking and venues for the draw and presentations after each match top blokes THANKYOU very much it is very appreciated. Good luck to all teams fishing div one this weekend ... . . .  . . .

This is the one I've been waiting for.

The final pratise match was on E, F and G sections and while it was tough in a few areas it will be a fair indication of what can be expected on Saturday.

Two hundred and eighty fished or two hundred and eighty one, I knocked one off because apparently Joff caught crappity smack all.

Well what can I say; Lloydy is cotacting the BW to ask them to take all the roach out of the canals and top them up with chub. The converted specimen hunter caught one of 8 lb 10 in this match and finished sixth with that.
Anyway that is enough of the serious side and now to the funny stuff. Dessie Dingwall (Birkenhead Centre) picked up £300 for his 16-0-3. He had four chub, skimmers and roach for 16-0-3 from peg 141. Ian Blakeley was entered in the veterans section of this match but had a right bonus when he found he was second with 15-14-10 of skimmers from peg 142. Neil Burrows (Ted Carter Southport) nobbled a bream and skimmers for 14-1-0 from Little Onn. Jason Cunningham (Fox Tipton Van den Eynde) picked up yet again with 13-9-4 of small roach, skimmers and perch plus a huge eel. Andy Lewis (Ted Carter Southport) had 8-14-14 of roach from the Turnover length and then there was Lloydy.

Woodrot won his section but owing to the serious amount of stress has has he never picked his section up.

That curry is tasting even better. Image
