its nice to see the match organiser getting in on the feature ,i always think these top stars would'nt be there if it wasn't for these lads giving up there own time to run them  Image

TK, I don't want to go down the 'new idea' route, what I'm trying to do is create a 'style' of my own that hopefully anglers will like as its 'different' even the 'new ideas' mentioned revolve round technical stuff or 'how to' articles, all been done a million times before, I think its time to have a 'different' look at this sport we all enjoy. 8-)

Well said Joffie, very true, when did you last see an article on match organisers? (Oh yes it was mine last year, in UK Match Magazine) ;)

Its been great  to get 72 anglers on the bank  over six rounds and have really enjoyed running the league including the six open match's in the summer, yes we have had a few hiccups
Along the way, but as long as we all learn from them thats all that matters ,   @ the end of the day its all about the fishing and getting guys on the bank each week doing, and enjoying doing there Stuff Image

A full section run down posted shortly , now the sheets are dry and i can read them lol Image

just like to say a big thankyou to the team of people who have all had there various tasks to help make the league what it is.
from pegging out to weighing in and recording the draw and organizing the parking, maps and the headquarters etc.......
thank you all,

And finally you the Anglers , and I mean the team anglers  that have entered this league ,
Team fishing means a lot to me and you guys have  made it what it is hope you enjoyed what you have seen , and lets do it again next year  Image

Yes Paul, A huge thanks from myself and all the committee at Izaak Walton (Stafford) AA.

You have done a fabulous job and without the added income our club would have more than likely had to start at looking dropping water off, possibly High and Little Onn and to be honest ALL local clubs would have been effected by that if you understand what I mean.

With nine miles of canal it is getting harder to balance the books and that is all we want to do.

The pegs fees will remain at £2 for as long as possible and there will be only a limited amount of contests to avoid undue pressures on the waters.

Thanks again Paul,
Tony Keeling, IWSAA President and Chairman
