the thing I don't like is the 4 hours.
4 hours seems a short match for lads who have took the trouble to spend a few bob and travel abroad, especially on bream venues ??

NOT REALLY dodge specially when your getting over the night before
i don't know who said it but Ireland fished really well this year and there was no long walks and more to the point if you fished properly for roach english style 8 to 10kg was possable from most pegs
i do find this hard to believe myself
so has anyone been over there this year and could tell us

Thing is Joff, those lads can get in where they can for 20 pegs, but our festivals are between 60 and 90 anglers, that would be a nightmare to organise without booking.
Small knockups you'd get away with anything. I'm not going if things don't change re the 4 hours, rotating pegs etc, cos it will just be a draw bag job even more than normal and half the anglers won't get a chance at sluice pegs.
I love the place and the fishing, but it's not the same anymore. A lot of lads said the same.
It's not cheap now either, most lads stayed in at night cos of the cost. We went to the Argentinian one night, Steak and chips, soup starter and 3 beers was €45, so nearly £45. too much.
