Also echo Yamos sentiments there...........usually conventional baits score down there at this time of year............I had 4lb off the same peg messing around in a practise session with Gerry L the week before and Cotti caught well off Vestes peg a few days earlier - a peg which only through up a few ounces on the match (plus a couple of lost beasties)

Certainly down on 1 - 13 we got blew off it..........no doubtabout it ......it obviously 'calmed down' like it always does when the whistle goes at the end, but there was still a fair ripple on the higher pegs too when I went to see how they had got on

Now its going a tad milder again, this weekend the guys are all practising on corn, pellet and meat (only) to see whatsort of beastie weights we can do..........

Typically 4.5 ft, but a bit more water on a couple of pegs - nearer the bridge plus down by the boat yard.

See any signs of fish Budgie? Yesterday there were tons basking lower down by the boatyard

Looks like these TA'ers need a bit of time to set up (all their carping and piking gear) so we are scheduled to fish 10.30am to 3.30pm
