i had much the same opposite me yesterday, half a dozen of the water gyppos having a cuppa and a smoke whilst using a chop saw to cut up logs for 3 hours....talk about a headache waiting to happen lol

no random for the series spoke to Brian today and we both said that peg will have to be left out
i can't believe it really as the peg has won in the past a lot of matches still that's a few years back

good spirit taff  no one could of done anymore than we'd done bomber mark eustace painted and cleaned all the-pegs i'd spent loads of time with the boats and to be fair all bar one had moved off the pegs and the one that had moored must of come over night  as malc the narrow boat chief editor of the canal boaters mag is staying on the canal there and has published the dates on the website for us
as for boats chopping wood painting or hanging the washing out i just can't do anything about .the chap opposite was cutting slabs for a while in his own back garden it happens to us all from time to time just hard when its a big match like this

cheers pal we do try its quite good in a way its a shame the semi is in the middle as its going to be close throughout and we could of done with the other round in
