Ultimate bloodworm float???
very kind of you mark,it all comes with time fishing against the best with the best and talking with the best but you still got to do it your self, feeding is the key but you need to no how to catch according to your feed or why your feeding the way you are but the bottom line is if your on fish you will catch barring a disaster, it's just the better you get the more you catch, floats are small part as are how you shot up but you need to understand what your trying to do, why your feeding what and where and for what, whats the peg worth it all matters then fish according.like i say thats just my take on it not to sound like i no it all as i dont.some of my best catches have come when feeding it raw out of the pack and fished a positive rig no fuss tip in and catch you just need to be on a few.

Sorry what I am trying to say noing what your fishing for and where is more important. Than your float to a degree, most canal floats will go under it just makes it easy if you have fed your kit right.sorry again.

Thats the original squatt floats with the 1mm plastic tips Joff, Mine are the same shape, they just have a different bristle, I love um!
Almost identical to the Fox 'uns. Fox did em with two different types of bristle.

Sensas brascia spelling could be wrong but its something like.there awsome pal grey and black in colour .10 up to 1 grm or there abouts great shape wire steam and bristle iv painted my bristle up and doped the float.not find many better and unlike dufiles they take more or less the same shot.good luck mate.p.s. these are what I use for my shallow canal fishing depth and flow will mean diffrent floats so there isn't an ultimate allround float in my eyes.
The Brescia's are my favourite b&j float, but can be a little sensitive when theres any tow or wind.Unless its really hard,i use these.......

Scotty, sound advice as usual!! People can only learn from the best! I personally use the preston PB14s (the new style one with the fibre tip) brilliant little float, dot down nice so you can see them when the light is bad as can sometimes be the case on the shallow canals. Set one up with a bulk and two droppers and another with a spread shotting pattern, normally a 4x14 and a 4x10 if your fishing the bottom of the far shelf. Keep it simple by feeding two lines left and right one being positive 150ml and the other not so 75ml and take it from there. 90% of the time i will just feed it straight out the pack in winter, but if there is a distinct tow on the water or you have to break ice then adding a little grey leam is a good idea Hope this helps you mate. Oh and just to throw a spanner in the works.... Make sure you take bread!!
