Absolutely Tragic

The Nurse at the hospital looking after the young royal mother (Kate) to be who was conned during a hoax phone call by two Austrailan radio DJs pretending to be the Queen and Prince Phillip has been found dead (presumed commited suicide)

Shockingly sad ! What sort of a world do we really live in ?

I hope the two radio DJs have the dignity to resign or are sacked.

i agree this is a tragic loss BUT i cant see why the dj's should be sacked.

Before this incident how many times have we laughed at hoaxers? on this occasion how many of us honestly laughed at the hoax? how many of us commented they didn't even sound like the queen ? If she hadn't taken her own life we would of still been laughing. Also another point to think of is............ Yes the 2 dj's made the call but the show's editors must of given permission to for them to make the call. so there is more people involved in the hoax than just the 2 djs

Surely there is more to this than just a prank call, she must have had more things going on in her head and perhaps the call was the last straw.

My thoughts go out to her family.

Its one thing to make out its the queen on the phone but they oversteped the mark when they put the details on air .It should have stopped at the point that they got through to the nurse.It was personal intrusion after that.

Whats the point of making the call if you aren't going to air it? The idea is to hoax some one then share the hoax. When the hoax got played on the radio/ tv ect EVERY BODY was laughing about it EVEN kate and wills as they left the hospital. Even the nurses bosses said they weren't disapining her about the hoax so she had no reason to top her self because of the hoax. At the end of the day the hoax wasn't intended to make the nurse top her self.

Listen to our radio stations when they phone hotel receptionists, people up, ect ect and play hoaxs on them when the radio station find out pop stars/ top polotictions, world leaders ect ect are staying there.

The point Kiwi is making is right. The two Djs on discovering there hoax had gone world wide they BRAGGED about it LIVE ON AIR WITH TV CAMERAS , the footage has been shown on Sky news , it is disgusting gutter journalism . The British police have now contacted the Austrailian radio station.

My heart goes out to the nurse and her family.

It was obvious a hoax like this would go world wide as it involved 2 major and popular royal characters. If the nurse hadn't topped herself the hoax been up there with some of the best. No one set out for the nurse to top her self. Its no good slating the press either, as they just spread the news and at the time EVERYONE was glad they had covered the hoax. Now the nurse as topped herself every one are doing there usual double standards by now condemning the DJ's, the press, the radio station ect.
At the end of the day a joke was played, the nurse took it to heart and took the cowards way out and topped her self.
All these peple including dodge who are slating the press, calling them gutter press for informing us about the hoax, are you telling me you don't buy or read any national papers, don't watch national news programs, don't listen to national radio news programs? Im sure you do watch news, listen to it, read it ect so you support these programs, but because something as happened for you to winge about you are now slagging the press off as gutter press but by double standard you will be still watching the same programs .

Nurses are under enough stress/pressure as it is without having more put on them by some body having a "laugh" at their expense,
you will probably find it was the thought of the disciplinary she was facing even possibly losing her pin.(no pin,no career)that contributed to her taking such drastic action,
it is well known that people in the nursing profession have a higher than normal suicide rate,divorce rate,history of depression etc just because of the sheer pressure of the job,

We should be supporting our nurses/doctors etc not playing practical jokes on them for a cheap laugh,at the end of the day we all usually need them in one form or another,we just dont seem to appreciate them enough these days,

very quick to knock em...very slow to praise,

This is just my opinion of course,no offence intended

It looks like she tried to kill herself twice before, this was just the tipping point, she obviously had issues.
