Once drew A1 in the National at a place called Cowbit, just outside Spalding

Read a fair few articles and match reports in the past about it - would love to give it a bash when it was on song but it's a bit too far east for a jaunt for a TK Grueller

It is believed that the roach don't migrate into this stretch unless there is previous rain.
Apparently they were there for a spell last year but not for a few years before that

A up mate
I have spoke to Wayne tonight and its like this,
Bread or groundbait / pinkie, maybe a bit of hemp, up the byepass a choppy/caster line and odd pegs down the bmx. Alotments will be hard but nene parade/ wiggy bridge good for skimmers/ roach, no choppy here. You will still need to draw but a tinge of colour and a nice left to right tow will be best. If its clear and still it will be hard on the poor draws and you might have to set traps for big fish but that will be only section prizes. Byepass will be a good draw but above the bridge will be best. You will have to make your mind up about bread or groundbait as some pegs will not be wide enough to take two approaches, however a few will ! I will go with bread/hemp and a good choppy line if in a area. See you there.

CWH, Beechy, just got the result of the Forces match at March yesterday, 56 fished. River running very hard and clear.
There were eight doubles and half a dozen 9s.
Match was won from outfall peg with 19-13-0, next to him, Town Bridge 17-14-0, this to the swimming pool was the best area although there were odd weights all over. Winning two had roach and skimmers on punch, so it says anyway! Hope this helps...

Cheers mate. I thought asmuch. I've been down there 4 times and won my section twice. Just need to do the same on sunday and then win the match. Easy!!!!! well it sounds easy.
My swims always dry up on me. Is it because I've caught what is there? I've gone searching, but can't judge what's around me as they,ve dried up as well. the latter sounds the likely question. Just to need to draw a section where all
the framers come from.
Bag up with 200 punch roach for 20lb and hope it's enough. Easy
