Welcome
Welcome to the new section for Marsh Angling Club.
Hopefully we will be able to give all you guys a flavour of fishing down here in the Kent and Essex area.
We are only a small club of 20 members which initially started back in the 90's as a firms club to fish the Insurance Brokers annual Match. With some of the left over budget we started to book a couple of days out together.
This increased over the years to end up with us having 6 outings a year and various guests coming along, all paid for by the company.
In 2005 they decided to move locations and the majority of us ended up redundant or retired and at the request of the members the club carried on and became self funding.
We are not of a very high average standard but all enjoy our fishing and you wont find a friendlier bunch of guys who just go out for a pleasurable days fishing together.
