Arrans Lake Saturday 27th October

This will be our first trip to Arrans due mainly to the rules in the past and is a trial run to see if we fancy adding it to our calendar next year. There is no denying that it is an overstocked carp puddle but following the demise of Rockells would more than adequately replace it.
The fish average 4lb and fight very hard plus there are lots of them. Unless we have some severe weather before the match then I would expect the top weight to be in excess of 200lb even at the end of October.

The postcode is CM13RA. The entrance is close to the junction of Ingatestone road and Metsons Lane.

The main rules cover the use of nets and weighing fish.

60lb net limit
You may have seperate nets where you can keep up to 6 fish between 6 and 8 lb. Fish over 8lb must be weighed immediatly and returned.
We may be asked to do a midmatch weigh in.
We will need as many sets of scales as possible.
I would suggest you take as many nets as you have.

So who is going to dig their thermals out and turn up.
