On some pegs it was rapping ! 50 grams did not hold on others with slacks or flow on other bank it was not a problem !
Some teams had these big flat floats a lot of other anglers just did not have the big sizes needed on a lot of pegs.
It was quite strange that these teams were keen to point out that you could not overshot your float in order to combat the tow. The trouble is these anglers who have not got them will probably not be able to get hold of them as most shops do not stock them and a lot of them are digging in Newark.
My biggest is 30 grams and I cannot get hold of any bigger in time ! This will be a massive advantage to the teams who have them. If somebody had a stock of 40, 50 and 60 grams floats they would all get taken tomorrow trust me. I am just a little p***** off that the sportsmans spirit is well and truly out the window. If teams cannot get any in time then why not allow overshotting for these matches, I will tell you why not because 3 teams have all the ranges and dont really care that the majority of the others aint !

Our two rivers, they go into the Trent look like a massive lake, plus loads to come from the Dove and Derwent, - it ain't gonna drop much, if any, overnight.

We also had a shedload more rain yesterday Image Image
