Its total cr@p, This is saying the FA is a higher power the the british crown justice system. No matter what you think of terry, or what your veiws are of what happend between him and ferdy, this cause went to a British crown court and was heard in front of a neutral and indipendant jury and terry was cleared of all cases, so how come the FA can suddenly rule him guilty for the offenses he as just been cleared of.

Double standards yet again and goes to show that the FA know FA.

Rio Ferdinand was fined £45,000 after an independent regulatory commission found proven a charge of improper conduct in relation to a comment posted on Twitter.

"The commission decided that the comment was improper and brought the game into disrepute. In addition, the commission found that the breach included a reference to ethnic origin, colour or race."

Not banned for any matches however and dealt with very swiftly after he apparently endorsed the view that another professional could be accused of being a "Choc Ice" for supporting Terry in court.

Must agree with Mugger, lets crappity smack it all off and have our own Olympics here every year.

As far as gamesmanship and all that crap goes has football (our National game) been any lower.

It used to be played by sportsmen, all I see now is a load of money pinching gargoyles that will stop at nowt to get one of the opposition sent off. That's my crappity smack rant over with
