I heard that Steve Yeomans died recently. Just 46. I'm sure there are many on here who had fished with him and against him. Very sad news.

Steve had been ill for a good while.

He lived in the Burton area.

Really good canal angler who also liked the 'fun' side of fishing. He fished for Starlets under Dowsey

He also fished for us in quite a few Leagues including the Wolverhampton Winter League when it was huge. I think we won that when twelve teams fished; he was one of our team then.

Very sad.

R.I.P Steve. Thoughts go to his family. Fished with him a lot at Drakelow, where he was a decent River man, but as someone else said, a top, top cut angler :o

R.I.P. Steve. I too used to fish with him and have a lot of good memories.
My thoughts go out to his family.
