Great picture that sums up why we go fishing.Look at all that enjoyment being experienced.
That looks like me ,the young lad with the blond hair.
I was like that..many years ago.
That chap has got my wicker basket that I lost.
Remember them .they were great.
Won a big match in the early 70's and rushed up to see Stan Elkington in Dells tackle Battersea and purchased a huge wicker basket for my match fishing.

Happy days........somebody always having a few despite the attention of youngsters almost kicking their gots over and asking  had anything mister?.......


...... and floats just a few yards away from yours............even closer if you'd just had a bite............crossed lines, that brings back a few memories too  :D

Emptied the garage about two years ago.........put a couple of wicker baskets out at the top of the drive......


Theyd gone within the hour :o


a damn lighter than the box I carry now :D

Maybe Clapham Common...Mitcham...Richmond park.?

You referring to the kidney pond a dew years ago when I drew 2 and you was on 3.......your "lighthouse float" kept getting closer and closer to my catching area Image
