0.2.8oz gutted probably my worst result on the canal ever when we drew i knew it could hard but never that hard i Even went with a negative approach hoping that a few fish would get me out of jail
the last angler to drew the peg had a 1lb 14oz perch and two others for 2lb 1oz so i had two lobby lines and then one down the peg not to far as the windy was horrendous before the start i had lent a angler two pole section that had blown in
the rest of my lines were solely a perch attack with tinney bits of joker and leam thinking if i could do a pound of little perch and a bonus lobby perch might save the day
cut a long story short it didn't i caught two perch out of one hole and then all match trying to find and make other lines sole destroying to say the least knowing some where there are fish in your peg no pictures this week as kit was flying around left right and center
the last hour and half i set a couple more lobby line up and the float did go under but it was a perch as big as the tail end of the worm
all in all a really pointless day the only good thing to come out of the day was my partner redimed some points for us and stillleaves us with a chance
the results will be up later as i have afew staff off today and i'm having to work crap weekend and crap monday does it get any better
i can see why i never used to go in january

Well , how windy was that ? My pole was blown in before the start and while I was retrieving it all my top kits got blown in.
Because of the conditions I decided to fish for Perch close in feeding joker in damp leam and managed to catch nearly all match.
Had the conditions been better I would have fished differently and maybe not caught as much !

I had 54. 10 of them were Roach that I caught from across in a short spell when the wind eased off !
I told Joff on the morning of the match that the fishing would be very fair and the best pair would win !
That was after the draw though
