Right guys - a decision for you

Was intending for this to be on the the Fishley section.

However the lock is shafted again.............Heinzer popped down a couple of days ago to check it out and reports that its 'glued up again'

Do ya wanna meet at Wood Lane and go a dozen or so either side, or meet on the junction

Image reports I'm getting are of some better bags up that end Image

Upto you guys - let me know asap - I'll make a decision on your feedback and other reports I hear on Wednesday

TBH MrV, I quite fancy giving the Common a bash......I've heard of some decent catch reports off there over the last couple of weeks Image

I've reported the issue with the lock again to my BWB contact, but unfortunately I received an OOO response to my email...........

Heinzer is going to pop down Fishley this week with his blow torch and see if he can melt the glue - we'll see how he gets on

Forgot to add that Hotlips told me he was going to give this one a miss............

He told me he thought it was only fair to miss it so as to give some other member a chance of winning on the canal Image

Went down to the Wood Lane bridge this evening TK and there were quite a lot of Bullrush cuttings heading towards the Oak. Have BW been at it again?

For info Gudgeon Basher

Postcode for Wood lane is WS3 5AA

Postcode for the Fingerpost pub is WS3 5AU

If we fish the top/middle of the common, head for the pub, just over the bridge that the pub sits on is a track that leads down to a canal house, swing left past the canal house and park right on the junction of the two canals

Looks like The Hunter and Colin might be the guys to beat this week......... Image

Both had another session yesterday along the Common with Col just 'edging it' over the Hunters bag of skimmers and roach with a proper 6lb bream, 3.5lb tinca and a load of 12oz - 1lb skimmers

Ok guys and gals...........decision made Image

Meet/draw at Wood Lane - we'll go a dozen or so pegs either side

Normal 9am draw (or earlier if everyone is in tow), fish 10am to 3pm

Please spread the word to any of your chums who dont have a tin box
