ok on reaching my peg the carp were trying to crawl up the bank in the empty peg next to me(i was on the far bank in the next peg nearest the corner by the other pool) i decided to fish the meat in the margins first put in resulted on a 4lb carp foul hooked in the dorsel fin i thought it was a monster as it was going just were it wanted next two fish slipped the hook then it whent quite for a bit so changed to 4 red maggs on the hook this resulted in two carp one after the other  tried chopped worm at 13 meters never had atouch went back in the margins caught steady all day overall red maggs were the best on the day
