I am, like me cricket.
Saw an Edgbaston Ashes match the other year; brilliant day out. Sat amongst a pile of Aussies, one of the best yellow stream-ups ever been on, dead friendly, not a bit of aggro

Ashes
Might have been when I went, best sporting day ever been to.
Always wanted to see Shane Warne. He came as fat as crappity smack and still got five wickets for crappity smack all.
I went with a mate, his dad and his dads mates.
We got security checked and one had a massive holdall with him full of huge plastic bottles of 'water'. Thery cleared us and in we went, the water was pure gin, probably eqiv of four BIG bottles.; they all got para, it was really funny.
I hate gin so I was at the bar quite a bit.
It was a red hot day, that is why they escaped with the 'water' story!!!!!!
Saw loads of runs and loads of wickets; it might have been the Edgbaston record for the most Test runs scored in a day; I think it was over 700. It yellow stream down next day and that Test was drawn!

Ashes
Highlights on channel 4 during proper hours
The first test venue always suits Austrailia whoever they play ..... if England can start the series with a draw or better they have an outstanding chance of holding onto the Ashes The aussies arent anywhere near as strong as they used to be 4 or 5 years ago but will still be difficult to beat in their own backyard
England are a well drilled unit but bowling the Aussies out twice to win a test may prove difficult plus Peterson needs to regain his best form very , very quickly
Cant wait , should be brilliant viewing

I don't think 260 is quite as bad a first innings total as the media have made out. Trur, it could be better but two or three quick wickets tonight and it is match on.
I prefer it like this as a mega score often leads to a draw.
Come on England, bowl them crappity smack ozzies out
One flag for each wicket

I wanna tell yer a story (a true one)................
Wednesday night was my billiards night and I was thirsty
I got home at the stroke of midnight and went thtrough every channel I could find on the remote to get the cricket on. It took quite a time because my fingers weren't responding too well, the remote is not quite the same shape as a pint pot. Anyway 1 o'clock passed and still fooking cricket. I fell asleep then, still with the remote in me mit. It was 2.30am and I was thinking a bit clearer.
It was only then I realised I ain't got Sky; is this the first indications of oldtimers disease?
Common Engerland; a couple of quick wickets and who's the Daddy then

your fuc#ing barking mad
i did take the dogs for a walk once and called in the woodies on the way back because they were sh!t up i put them outside on thing led to another and i went home out of the front door of the pub instead of the back where the dogs were ::) ::)
when i got home the tank commander said "thats the best ! tell me the dogs have run off again and you've been looking for them all night, well you should of tried the pub first as they have been there all night "

Oh well
I stayed up and watched a few hours Dave . England were very unlucky first up :( could easily have had hussey and haddon out early
England need to bat for a day and a half to save a draw ..... would be an awesome result if they can do it
