I'm a full individual member and a member through Izaak Walton (Stafford) AA - a fully paid up member club.
Not sure of total membership; it is over 14,000 just through clubs. I have the full figures somewhere.

As Keith Arthur said the other day on Fishermans Blues. Why is it anglers will join the RSPB who appear to be anti angling and yet won't join the Angling Trust?
I must admit that I am also an RSPB member but I have written to them complaining about their apparant anti angling stance where they buy waters then ban angling.
