Does anyone know if the short guy next to Dennis Salmon is Billy Knott Snr?

Might be wrong but it don't look like him; he is the one I thought was Sid Meads.
Can't believe I've missed Ken 'Keith' Rolfe, must be an age thing ::) ::)

Certainly he looks like Freddie, but "You were made for me" wasn't ringing out at the presentation.

It isn't that bald headed bloke who manages to lead the National winner into the winners enclosure every year is it?

CWH--- it`s Micky Burrell who fishes the Beds Ouse, don`t think Pete Burrell goes fishing anymore.

Nice one Mullarkey Image
Here's one for you, spoke to Steve Toone yesterday and we were talking about old days and he said when he first started running matches on the Trent Jim Randall and Tom Boulton turned up to fish.
Jim asked Steve if they could use swimfeeders !
Steve had never heard of this and there they were with modified hair curlers !!!
The rest is history as they say.

Choppy,
I spoke to one sandal on saturday before the draw for the national and he told me he was going to fish the feeder. One of our team told me that Jimmy had a 9lb barbel in the onion sack by the end of the match, he may be getting on a bit but he can still catch a few, but he think he uses Nisa feeders now instead of his old woman`s hair curlers.

Pete Burrell fished a 2 day match on the upper Wensum the last day of the season. He was over from Thailand with his family. I think that is where he spends most of his time now. Wears a syrup now though :o :o :D :D :D

Yes Mick Thill did fish for the good old US of A. I think he still lives there; last time I met him was at Ivan's funeral, he came over for it.
