I can just about remember him !
When I was 14 I used to fish with Burton Mutual and in those days they were good on the canal at Stretton and the river Dove at Tutbury !
Anyway in those days 80/81/82 we twice reached the semi-finals of the Captain Morgan Cup. We unfortunately lost both and one of the teams was ABC led by Dickie Carr. They beat us on the River Kennet by having good anglers who could fish for small and big fish. A very good team in those days !!
