That was just about the end of the Cofton Hackett era as Clive was involved with Shakspeare and soon formed the Superteam. Was that a Birmingham Parks Festival win ? not sure maybe Colt 45 ?
I think the other bloke could have been Terry Smith.

Ken Smith is the missing one, he had a leger rod named after him, I think made by Rodrill. I had one, about 9 1/2 foot long quite a good rod in those days (70`s).

I might be wrong CWH but I thought there was a real tall chap, Dave Williams, could have Steve that was in Shakespeare squad, he lived near Willenhall and fished a lot with Roger Worton Image Image Image

Years back Dave Williams, Roger Worton, Dave Williams, John Bristow, Robin Tooth and myself used to regularly travel tio Fiskerton to fish the opens, - you needed to draw near the gas pipe (weir) in those days. I think it is Barnsley water nowadays. Image Image
