Is TK's match against Larry's lot a grudge match ?
I'd better let Larry answer that one
This is the 3rd annual match coming up - it's one a piece so far - we trounced 'em first year with the likes of Simps and Budgie in tow, but Larry's mercenaries whopped us back last year.....
So it's all to play for and game on

CWH,
Yare matches last until late september early october. Should be more roach dominated from now on, although I`m no venue expert as I only go there a few times a year due to other commitments. This season i`m trying to spend more time there as it`s a great place to fish. I`ve been there four times this year and had weights of 16lb, 20lb, 61lb and 19lb (bound to have put the mockers on this weeks match now!).
It`s had a lot of colour in the river this year due to algae which has meant that bream and skimmers have been showing, last saturday there were 44 fishing (normally its 50 + but there was a league match there sunday and some people can only get out once a weekend), I had 19lb and was probably not in the top ten, I think 27lb was last in the frame.
Rain has the effect of killing the algae and increasing the water clarity which means the skimmers slow down a bit and roach come to the fore. This year the roach are enormous, many 1lb + fish are coming out on the feeder, I had 40 fish for 16lb on the pole back in june and only caught for 2 hours before the tide started to flood and with the extremely windy conditions I couldn`t present the bait properly. I would guess that there will be a proper big weight of roach in the coming months if the right combination is acheived i.e. ebb tide, decent depth and quality pole angler.
You should give yourself a treat and try a couple of the matches you`ll definitely go back.
