Sat 4 Sept 2010 - Model Canal

Breakfast sandwiches are available

Rules (in my possession)
Barbless hooks only - max size 14
Landing nets are to be used at all times, no fish to be placed on the ground
Method feeder, floating pole and braided lines are not allowed
Boxes, rod rest etc also your feet are not to be in the water
½ kilo (1lb) maximum of groundbait or liquidised bread
Keepnets to be dipped before starting fish
2 keepnets to be used at all times (no more than 50lbs of fish per net)
Boilies, bloodworm & joker, nuts, floating baits. cat or dog meat or any artificial baits are banned

No spectators, dogs or radios. Keep off all grassed areas

All litter to be taken away

All vehicles are to be parked on carp parks and not to be taken onto the canal side

Blimey is there a conspiricy against crap fisheries going on with this lot not fishing saturday, sorry meant carp fisheries, my excuse is im of on my jollies best of luck to everyone.
can I also echo my sentiments on last satudays match at swarkestone, although it was very difficult to control stick and waggler I absolutely enjoyed it, more of the same next year if the trent continues to fish well, well done MR V

Same excuse from me Dave. Believe it or not, I am going to France with some friends to a .........................CARP FISHERY

Mind you, they aren't tame. hand fed fish, but proper ones that go up to 64lb

Along with Tench to 14lb so I will be packing the Pole gear as well

Abuman not coming, spoke to him last night.

what pegs do we have? let's hope we are on lower numbers this year. Given the absentees it looks like we will be able to space them out too, happy to give you a hand pegging out chris.
