Dunno what day yet but sometime in the next 2 weeks I'm going to have a day at Holmer Lake.
It down the M54 and only takes about 30 mins to get too.
Theres alot of big Roach and Bream in there. Last time I went had plenty of 1lb+ roach and some nice skimmers too.
There is carp in there too but I want to catch bream and roach for a change. Will be taking the feeder to hunt the bream down hopefully.
Anyone interested in coming let me know please.

Told MrV about your 'invite' this morning as it just so happens.
We are both up for (despite the anticipated chants from the Chockie Monster that one of us won't turn up :D )
The diary is pretty clear at the mo for 30th July - 9th Aug if you want to set at date SS

Ok how about Monday the 6th August. That way any left over bait from the weekend can be put to good use  Image
Don't forget your trolley. The last time I fished there I doubled back on the queensway and parked by the overflow on the dam wall. But this time I plan to use the carpark. Far safer than pulling on and off a duel carriageway   :D

Its only £4 a peg too. Cheap as chips. Not sure on bait bans but I will only be taking caster, hemp, maggot, corn and pellet anyway. Plus a bag of swim stim and halibut ground bait mixed together for the feeder.
Keepnets are allowed too, so if we catch we can get some good photo's. Might even see if i can borrow the scales to have a little weighin at the end  :)

I have a contact number is you want to ring up and find anything out....
01952590605.

Let us know if that date is ok.
Conna, can you feel a sick day coming up  :P   :D
