Nice to have you aboard Si, I know you'll do well. You must get your head round chopping worm though, it can be a great get out of jail method and at Rolling Mill St it can be v hard in some sections when the frost and snow is about.

Which reminds me, can you get the worms off Tinky for the 3 a side? They were gonna be free but I think I might have to pay now :'(

I got my bait today and all that I ever take to Rolling Mill St is Red Squatt, mixed Pinkies and Maggots and of course the Caster. Punch will come into it's own when it's frosty and iced over. I will take some chop when the team event starts but not this week.

Estimated winning weight for Sun will be approx, 5lbs unless some jammy sod lands a Tench then it will be around 8lbs.

Perhaps you'll have to try chopped spaghetti soaked overnight in worm essence Image

Had a walk down this dinnertime............looking a bit gin clear.......read last weeks Sun just at the bottom of the far shelf. :D
Plenty of fish showing in the actual wharf, but a fair chop on up in the pegs in the 20s made spotting a tad difficult. Some manky Curley Wyrley floating weed also in patches.
Do you fish the 3 mtr whip? Reckon you'd snatch a few bits on the punch over a constant sloppy cloud, but is obviously selective but a starting place before gradually feeding a few squatts in the slop. Used to fish the CW a lot yesteryear and always used to catch on the punch on the lengths I fished, irrespective of time of year - but perhaps the Wharf is different?
Need a bit of chop on if fishing the pole and pehaps a slightly longer line to save waving the pole over their heads?
