Still got a couple of patterns in sensas (desque? plus another) plus the drennan worm from about 15 years back.

Only trouble I've got now is threading the line thru sleeves to fit wire stems Image

They dont sink mate, they take a bit more weight than what is stated on the body of the float ie 0.3 will take around 0.35 etc, they are mega sensitive....fozzie uses em

Now the fish seem to be small on the Walsall canal i think you need a bulk rig set up, when they are coming fast i think it might help to catch a bit quicker.

What you think Dodge3?

yepp it certainly worked last year, but for me not so much this year....better stamp to be had on strung out light rig in deep or shallow pegs if your on em!! Bulk deffo for the 40 to the pound stuff....reckon you need about 350 small roach for 10lb

I wander why the fish have got smaller?

Do you think its because the stampers are getting cute or because of the amount of tiny fish not giving them a chance?

I fish it every week Roger, the stamp roach aint fed since June when we had those floods.

All summer you have had the odd one on seed but the weights have been 3lb down all year.

There has always seemed to be a better stamp on the Higher numbers.

I reckon because the pegs from 131 to 154 haven't been fished this year when there are pegged they could throw up a surprise.
