Wednesday Evening opens on Curley Wyrley

Me and TK got our heads together this morning during our extremely busy work schedules  Image and thought it might be worth running some open knock ups on our new stretch of the Curly Wyrley.  Image Charging a pound peg fee, we should recuperate some of the cost of renting the stretch (this should help remove some of the wrinkles from Barrys forehead)   Image

So every Wednesday evening, starting 13th June, we will hold an open.

Draw 5-30pm on the bridge.
Fishing 6-15 to 9-15.
No Worm / Joker
£ 6-00 all in (£1 to peg fees £5 paid out)

Anybody fancy a go just turn up on the night. If any of you could stick a poster in your local tackle shops, this may draw us a few more punters.   Image
I will also put a post on Maggotdrowners tonight.
Image

Attached is a Poster to print out and pin up in your local tackle shop....

Been up the cut tonight - dropped JK off at the Fingerpost pub (peg 1) and had a wander down...........who was just setting up at 6.05pm. None other than Cotti the Warburton King down for a practise

Paid him several visits in between pints - and he was bagging.............3 and 4oz roach every put in within 10secs.

But will 15lb of roach be suffice ast he tenchies and breamies show on other lines Image

Yamo. Nobody has confirmed apart from the posts on here, so its a wait and see jobby. We can only try, and while there is a chance of decent fishing, maybe tomorrow nights result might encourage a few more bodies in future weeks. ;)

Heard via the tom toms in Halkidiki that only a couple had turned up, but whilst he was there, Mr V put the word around a few guys from the old Pelsall Social club that were fishing and they seemed interested in turning up next week.

Plus BDM and Heinzer will probably double the turnout next week too.........

Need Jagman and co to put in an appearance too to up the numbers Image

Once we can get it moving, success breeds success.........I'll get the results published as well, that might stimulate a further bit of publicity/advertisement
