I fished a match at Rolf's a few years ago where one chap had the same 15lb carp 3 times in the course of the match, he also lost it once

. It was a Common that had a distinct mark by one gill plate where it had lost a couple of scales.

Great reading.

I had a great match scratching and struggling trying to keep up with Gem. It was close in the end but not close enough
