Anybody got any info on this one? What to expect? Any predictions?
Has Yamo had a sally down there? If so how did he get on?

Any Yale forum members fancy guesting on it? SS or ME? Theres a couple of spare pegs. Only £6 'all in' - can't be bad

As I am not a "carp puddler " has anyone got any tips for Saturday. I was thinking maybe HA HA might offer a few gems of knowledge. Mind you he has been very secretive about his tactics for the "Shroppy"  Image

I was going to fish the punch for the Roach, but I notice on their banned bait list that liquidised baits and groundbait are not allowed.  Image Thats plans A to W out of the window.  :'(

Any ideas for plans X,Y & Z  Image

Looks like a cracking place, wish I could fish it  :'(
Don't forget the margins  Image
That burger van looks good too. No need to fish on a empty stomach  Image
Stocked predominantly with silver fish, it holds skimmer bream, roach to 2lbs, a large head of tench to 4lbs, chub to between 4lbs and 5lbs, and some carp which go to a maximum of 2lbs.

NO big carp Image Image
Mr V, your gonna be ok here :D Image

can confirm sandwiches are very nice Image Image
have been told that carp are a bit bigger than 2lb

Fished it bout 3/4 weeks ago with other club, fished cr@p Image
6 hour match for top weight of .......... 6lb Image
apparently several members of other club went the week before the match Image
and had in excess of 25lb of silver fish and couple of large carp

the match was fished during last cold snap with the freezing strong winds which made the fishing on the day hard (aint that normal for a cashmores match)
any way the bait list consisted of maggot, caster, worm corn and meat
and thats all i'll be using again this time Image

don't recall anyone using their pellets but this was probably due to high cost and size of both feed and hookers Image

Yes but by my reckoning it would take a good 4 hours to land that and it would probably win the match too. So worth it  Image
There are still "Bonus" carp in there though so its anyones match really.
You can either hit the roach from the start or sit and hope for a bigger carp or tench. Sounds like a tricky venue actually  Image
If all that fails you can go and get a burger and a cuppa :D

Hi KOD - what did you weigh?

What did you think of the venue - weather apart?  Were you pegged on the island?

Another member told me today that they went down last week and were really impressed and looking forward to Sat   Image

to be fair didn't pay that much attention to the place too damn cold :-/
