forgot to tell you about another Mad Phil statement that he expunged on us as we waited for the scales.
Someone said that if the scalesman don`t hurry up it would be dark, to which Phil replied " that`s good because roach start to eat algae as it gets dark and they weigh heavier, I might have over 20lb then"

I remembered another one ..... fished an open at stirrup cup earlier on in the year, it fished sh!t and i threw back around a pound of bits with half hour to go and went home ..... turns out that the rest of the section didn't weigh in either as none of them had managed more then 8 ounces and it cost me £20 section money
