Our current weigh net is showing signs of stress mainly due to you lot catching far too many fish. Image. The main bars are bent and one of the hinges is now detached.
To improve things for next year Tony has managed to get 2 indentical nets from his local tackle shop.
We can now adopt something a little like Rolfs methods at the weigh in, by having less fish in the weigh net and not have to wait for it to be emptied before weighing the next lot. Im sure this will make the weigh in easier and quicker.
Another benefit will be to protect us from being sued by Kevin for injuries suffered lifting a ton of fish at Rockells next year. Image

To be fair to him he did lift 1991lb at Rockells and the scales wouldnt settle towards the end with his arms shaking so much with the effort. Its just a good job you and Vic couldnt make it otherwise it would have been over a Ton to lift. Image Image
