Well that was a nice journey home for some of us, only 2 and 3/4 hours instead of 50 minutes. >:( :rage :rage :rage . I should have turned off on the A127 and gone home via Puddledock. :facepalm :facepalm :rage :rage :rage .
Wonder what time Terry got home?

Well done on the win Kris.

Having left at 5.30pm finally arrived home at 8.50pm, obviously don't know the details but it seems that shutting the roads is the default option instead of being a last resort.

I think the problem was a 2 lorry crash which closed the motorway. Fortunately it was under the A13 flyover which gave the ability to leave and rejoin the M25 via the roundabout. I’m sure it would have been much worse had it been between junctions. Still reducing 4 solid lanes of traffic to the one lane isn’t easy especially when half the vehicles are damn great lorries.

Sorry to hear about the journey home fellas; Jim was stuck in it too :rage Hope Clive went home by the northern route!
Well I didn't fish yesterday, but it seems that doesn't get me out of doing the results :facepalm
Weather was hot and sunny - 11 fished on Saturday with peg numbers from 1 on the car park bank down to 12 at the far end of the far bank.
Looking at the numbers, while there were some solid performances, clearly the days of summer mega bagging at Arrans sadly seem to be behind us.
First was Kris with 173lb from favoured end peg 12; Mick was 2nd with 153lb from the car park 'boards', and John 3rd with 118lb. Well done fellas.

Result:
1. Kris peg 12 - 173-00lb guest
2. Mick peg 2 - 153-08lb
3. John peg 6 - 118-00lb
4. Clive peg 1 - 113-00lb
5. Terry peg 10 - 56-00lb
6. Jim peg 5 - 53-00lb
7. Garry peg 9 - 46-00lb guest
8. Kris Jnr peg 11 - 42-00lb guest
9. Dave peg 3 - 40-00lb
10. Rod peg 4 - 36-00lb
11. Chris W peg 7 - 18-08lb
