Puddledock Farm - Road Lake 15/08/20

13 fished today; we had pegs 29 down to 9, so about 2/3 of the lake.
Weather was overcast and humid with occasional rain/showers and light winds.
Road Lake is never a gimmie and most of our matches there over the years have been won with less than a ton.
Today was no exception with most finding the going tough despite trying the usual array of swims, presentations and baits. :facepalm
There was quite a tow as well which also made things a bit interesting :thinking .
Today's winner was yours truly with 74lb :surprisev . Mostly caught on 6mm pellet and some on paste.
2nd was Chris T with 62lb and then quite a gap to Mark in 3rd with 37lb and John H with 32lb.

Result:
1. Tony R peg 13; 74-00lb
2. Chris T peg 14; 62-00lb
3. Mark peg 16; 37-08lb
4. John H peg 29; 32-08lb
5. Keith peg 22; 25-04lb
6. Kyle peg 19; 22-08lb
7. Josh peg 23; 22-00lb
8. Clive peg 28; 20-04lb
9. Simon peg 11; 19-00lb
10. Terry peg 17; 17-04lb
11. Rod peg 26; 14-04lb
12. Gino peg 20; 8-12lb
13. Dave C peg 25; 6-08lb

Sections: 11-16 Tony R (£8); 17-22 Keith (£8); 23-29 John H(£10). As usual winnings off subs for next match.

Another hard day. Fishing seems to be like this everywhere at the moment. A lot of fisheries have changed since lock-down and the resumption of angling.

Well done to all who framed and the section winners.

Personally I had a good laugh with Josh and although the fishing wasn't the best I enjoyed the day. In a sadistic sort of way, of course.
Golfs a game for people who cannot catch fish
