Surely will. You can have a lift on my custom built, four wheel drive, leather upholstered, chromium plated, four seat, centrally heated invalid trolley.

I'll not give too much away at this stage. But my plan is to curtail the wind in certain areas for the sake of all members.
Sausages have the right shape for this.

Top bagging Yamo  :tiphat :tiphat

Top pegging Big Col, plenty of room for everyone. Trouble was I drew my first end peg for years, and it was a route march  :whistle :whistle

As soon as I had my second Bream, a bloody boat came round the corner from Freeths bridge doing probably 10-12 mph. He hit the brakes that hard the skier behind rear ended the boat, and he still hadn't slowed down when he got to Big Cols peg. Think I heard Big Col wish him a happy trip :-X :-X

The water stayed black for about 20 minutes, and needless to say, the Bream went elsewhere to breath  :surprise :surprise

Daz gave Big Col and Phil B a lesson in how to lose Bream, with much
sniggering and micky taking to accompany each loss  :rofl :rofl :rofl

I know there were several bona fide sick notes handed in for this one Mr V, but cant understand some of the members who wont give this venue 'a chance'.....

As we all know, Yamo's pretty handy when it comes to the cuts, but as I've said to a number of members, the canal can be an enigma, you never really know where the winner will come from, supposed 'cock' pegs don't always produce and the winner can always come from a supposed 'poor area'.......and tbh 'anyone' can win on our canal

And as for the weights above, bet Tricast was a bit 'brassed off' - do 7lb plus on the cut and you usually expect to frame........

Fished cuts for donkeys years, and I must admit, our canal still never fails to amaze :-? :-?. I defy anyone to forecast where the winner will come from on any match there. It's been the same for years, and I think that's why us regulars enjoy it so much ;) ;)
Tricast, same as everybody down our end, fished tidy, but I think the boat ruined it for most of us in the lower pegs, due to the more shallow water down that end :'( :'(

I have to echo your thoughts on this TK, albeit being a sicknote myself on this match..... I was gutted
I mean, look at the facts.... plenty of fish, very low bait bills, very low fuel bills, never knowing what the next bite brings
Much preferable to me than going 45 miles each way to Digitandfillit Farm, paying £4 per bag of "own" pellets, sitting 3 feet from the next angler , and catching lipless semi tame, shellshocked craps

NO BRAINER really :D :D :D :D

Same for me RE the barge..didn't have a single bite after it sped through completely wrecked every swim with reeds floating every where...he had a big sign on the side of his barge saying "please pass on tickover when moored"..obviously didn't care about other canal users only himself .

Finally drew the north side of the bridge after about 10 attempts, decent day but once again could have and should have done much better  :rage

Well done Yamo...cracking net of fish :thumsup

Re: speeding boat. It's a pity one of you didn't clock boat name and serial number. It might have been worth reporting to CART, although I suspect they would have done very little about it. Any descriptions of said boat? If it turned out to be a local moorer I could have a word in his lughole. Speed is about perception Mr V, 10 to 12 mph is a physical impossibility for a narrowboat in shallow water but nevertheless, he was obviously traveling far to fast, even if there was no fishermen in the area! Idiots like that do nothing for canal users relationships
