Over the last couple of months a few of us organizers have been getting together to see how we can improve the natural river competition calendar for next year . The Sensas Masters was a real success yet we found it clashed with a few other matches especially the River Trent around Burton which has been brilliant over the last couple of years . Burton coors Angling have a great bunch of lads running there matches along with Wayne Swinscoe all very experienced in organizing and running competitions .Plus all being anglers they know what anglers want access is the one major selling point for competition fishing now . None of are getting any younger and the Burton boys have this well and truly sorted so there's no long walks .so along with the Sensas River Masters we are introducing the same sort of competition on the Trent [ along the lines of Burton masters] we think this will be run the the same way as the Soar with the only differences will be the top 7or 8 individuals qualifying whereas the Soar Masters is section winners qualify .we are not taking bookings until the end of march so please look at the dates and see which you can and can't make before booking as last year the soar sold out only to be cut down every match . Here are the dates and i hope you agree it's great that Organizers work together and bring more anglers to bigger competitions

I ded want to fish the Soar matches and can commit to all.Qualifying from section is probably the fairest way and gives everyone a chance to qualify.

Hi Ian the trent is a little different as the sections vary so much from peg to peg whereas the Soar is easy to do with section winners going through :thumsup
I must say its harder on the canal to qualify as its all about areas saying that when the conditions are bad any peg can qualify

Hi Joff,
This sounds great.
Where are the matches on the Soar?
How do I book onto the Trent and Soar Masters matches?

If you're fishing Ian, I'd be happy to drive. You can put me right on the duffers I draw.
Do you fancy the Trent at Burton?
Give me a call mate.

Craig I'll give you a bell tomorrow but the Soar at Bonnington is very good and pretty straight forward even I managed a few, and you know I can't fish rivers. you won't be on a duffer. That prize is always reserved for me!😁😁😁 I want to fish the trent but couldn't commit to fishing 2 series of matches.if you draw near Joff you'll be on a few!!😜😜

Hi Rigga
Coors matches are the Burton masters run on the same lines as the soar masters only difference is the top individuals go through to a final on the Trent whereas the soar masters is section winners this is simply because of the differences in venues .
by the way the River Fest has moved to the 15th August on the soar :thumsup  corrected the dates :thumsup
