Unread post by the queen »

I'm looking at running the match again this year on new years eve on the Trent & Mersey canal around Northwich area. (broken cross). Draw at Broken cross pub Rudheath CW9 7EB  8.30am. Food will be available. Pub will be open from 7.30am
£15 pools   no B/J
I shall limit it to 50ish anglers. so I can get the best areas pegged.
If interested post on here or ring me on  07599362765. Cheers Lewis...

Few lads about 8 vets from warrington been on today to left of broken cross.. all caught a few small roach and some perch so i'd expect it to be ok when we fish it, especially if this mild weather stays around. ;)

21-30 to right of Broken cross pub
31-40 to left of Broken cross

Ta Lewis.

Is peg 30 and 50 being put in twice? ;-)

I think you mean:

31-40 to left of Broken cross
51-60 to left of marina to Wincham wides.

This is how pegging is tomorrow.
Just been and pegged and these lengths are ice free and I've seen fish topping on all of them. I know its the time of day just before dark but it installs confidence when you see fish topping. Plenty of colour in the cut despite how cold its been, roll on tomorrow!
